Citizens Advice Camden - London Debt & Disability Project

Camden CAB's Face to Face Disability and Debt Advice service offers advice on debt and financial problems for people across Greater London who are disabled, have a long term health condition or are caring for a disabled child.

The service can:

  • give advice on any debt problem, large or small.
  • make sure the correct benefits are being received.
  • show you which bills are important.
  • explain what can happen if you don’t pay.
  • contact your creditors on your behalf.
  • set up a payment plan you can afford.
  • explain the action that creditors can take.
  • help with budgeting and prioritising debts.
  • negotiate with creditors and set up affordable payment arrangements

If you are an agency and have clients who could benefit from this specialised service, we could arrange to see them at your premises, organise a regular advice session, or you can refer clients to us and we can make home visits if it is necessary."
