The Food Chain

The Food Chain delivers meals and groceries and offers cookery and nutrition classes and communal eating opportunities to people living with HIV in London and their dependants.

They aim to ensure that people living with HIV have the ability to get well and stay well, supported through access to appropriate food.

Acquired immune deficiency syndrome or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a disease of the human immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Although there is no cure for AIDS, HIV infection can be prevented, and those living with HIV can take antiretroviral drugs to delay the onset of AIDS.
If you have difficulty cooking meals for yourself, your council can deliver ready-made meals to your home. This service is sometimes known as 'meals on wheels'.
