Careline Telecare Camden

Our telecare service is called Careline Telecare.

Telecare is the name we use to describe a range of services that you can use to get help in an emergency at home.

Telecare systems work using your home telephone line. When the special equipment we install is triggered because you need help, the system connects you to an operator, and says who is asking for help.

Often, the telecare system will show what sort of help you need, and make sure you get it. The system may be triggered when you press a special button, or by a telecare sensor.

Careline Telecare’s customers include:

  • older people
  • people with physical disabilities
  • people with mental health problems
  • people having problems with domestic violence or racial harassment
  • people with learning disabilities
  • younger people whose carers need support.
