Tax Help For Older People

Tax Help for Older People is a UK registered charity which is a free service provided by Tax volunteers, to all older people (60+) who have a household income of £20000 gross per annum or less.

Service provided:

  • Any personal tax problem, no matter how complex or small.
  • Get your PAYE notice of coding checked
  • Get help with form filling, reclaiming an overpayment of tax or replying to a letter from HMRC
  • You may simply be looking for some reassurance and peace of mind. (We understand that many elderly people may not have the confidence to talk with officials, or perhaps are vulnerable or confused by tax matters).
  • Requesting our help on behalf of an eligible older person you are caring for; and a Lasting Power of Attorney is not required to do this.
