Stonewall Housing helps LGBT people in London who are homeless or in housing difficulty.

The Advice Service offers LGBT people of all ages advice and support in all areas of housing. Your problems may be related to your sexuality or gender identity or you may just prefer to speak to us. In all cases however, you can be confident of speaking to a worker who is friendly, approachable and professional.

You can contact us with any housing problem. Below are some examples of some of the most common problems we deal with:

homelessness
relationship breakdown
homophobic harassment
homophobic violence
domestic abuse
transfer applications
legal queries
eviction
succession (inheriting your tenancy)
housing benefit

 

How to access advice

In person

Stonewall Housing runs a number of drop-in surgeries around London. These provide an opportunity to just pop in and speak with a worker face-to-face for about 15 minutes. This will give you a chance to get basic advice and find out what your options are. If we think we can help you further, we will arrange a time to speak to you in more detail.

Below is a list of times and places for the surgeries. Most surgeries are for any LGBT person who wants advice.
