London Veteran's Service

The London Veterans Service (LVS) is a free NHS mental health service available to all ex-serving members of the UK Armed Forces living in London or the Greater London region or registered with a GP in this area.

We are an NHS mental health service with experience of working with individuals who have served in the Armed Forces. Initially, we meet with you for an assessment of the difficulties you may be experiencing. In partnership with you, we can recommend support or treatment that can help get your life back on track. Such recommendations may involve help from a local NHS service in your area or from other organisations such as Combat Stress or other charities. Where such services are not available or for whatever reason not suitable for you, then we can in some cases provide treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other trauma related problems.

We aim to respond to referrals within 48 hours.
