British Wireless for the Blind Fund (BWBF)

British Wireless for the Blind Fund provides high quality, easy to use, specially adapted, audio devices, apps and support on a free loan basis to those who are unable to afford a set and who meet our criteria.

All our equipment is hand delivered by a trained worker to someone who is blind or partially sighted.

Adapted and standard radios can also be bought from BWBF Direct (all profits go to the Fund):

Who is it for:
Anyone who is registered either blind or partially sighted, over the age of eight, living in the UK and in current receipt of a means-tested benefit qualifies for a free set.

Free if eligibility criteria is met
How to apply:
People can apply for some of our devices for themselves. Some devices need a referral from a sight loss or support professional.
