Burgh House

Burgh House was used as a private residence for much of its life, but it is now open to the public four days a week as an independent charitable trust for arts, heritage and the community.

  • Music room available for hire for conferences, wedding receptions, book launches, parties and seminars
  • Licensed for Civil Weddings
  • Entry to House and Museum is free
  • Bridge Club every Wednesday afternoon
  • Scrabble Club every Thursday afternoon (small fee payable per game for both clubs)
  • Buttery Cafe (on site) opens 10am to 5pm Wednesday to Friday and 9.30am to 5.30pm Saturday/Sunday
