Highgate Newtown Community Centre work with people of all ages, providing facilities for sports and wellbeing, and opportunities to take part in arts and crafts activities, activities for children and young people and community support projects.

Remarkable lives - runs once a week where people tell their story about their past and experiences, and the centre is collating the information for reference.
Older people are very welcome to attend their community lunches which take place from Monday to Friday at 12 noon to 2 pm. Their community lunches depending on the venue is £2.50 to £3.50. They have fish and chips every Friday.
The Centre welcomes people from any post code who is interested in the above activities.
