The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.
We help vulnerable people in the UK and abroad prepare for, withstand and recover from emergencies in their own communities.
In London, we provide short-term practical and emotional support at home to help people regain their independence after a period in hospital or for other reasons (see details below).
*Please note that in London Area we no longer offer the Wheelchair and medical equipment loan services. Please see our website for other areas in the UK that do still offer this service to the public.
