A specialist day centre which provides a range of activities in stimulating, social environments for people with dementia. At Netherwood you will always have someone to support you. You will be assigned a key worker who will get to know your needs and ensure we are able to meet these.

These day centres provide a supportive environment for mental health service users and offer varied leisure, vocational and therapeutic activities.
For some people later in their life the cells in the brain that are related to mental ability become damaged, causing a gradual decrease in the ability to think and remember. When this happens it is referred to as dementia. Dementia is a non-specific illness syndrome (set of signs and symptoms) in which affected areas of cognition may be memory, attention, language, and problem solving.
