Housing Commissioning and Partnerships Team (Camden Council  Housing and Adult Social Care Directorate)

 
The team has two primary functions: housing commissioning and housing partnerships.

  • Housing commissioning: commissioning housing-related support services previously funded by Supporting People for single homeless people with support needs, homeless families, people with substance misuse problems, rough sleepers, ex-offenders and women escaping domestic violence.
  • Housing partnerships: responsible for liaison with private registered providers (PRPs - predominantly housing associations and co-ops) in Camden, and developing partnerships between council departments, government agencies, housing associations and the private sector; identifying opportunities and securing funding for new housing developments; and monitoring the contribution made by housing providers to local communities.
