Compassion In Dying

Compassion In Dying, is a charity that supports people to exercise their choices, deliver services including an Information Line and professional training and outreach. They conduct and review relevant research into rights and choices in end-of-life care and put pressure on the government and other policy makers to prioritise patient choice at the end of life.

They provide people with practical information and support to plan ahead for their future care and treatment by completing Advance Decisions, Advance Statements or Lasting Powers of Attorney for health and welfare. They also operate a project called MY LIFE, MY DECISION, which runs in partnership with seven local Age UKs and provides face to face  support to people aged over 50 to complete these documents.

Click on the INFO LIBRARY to view and download their  factsheets, research and publications free of cahrge.
