Shelter connect London service and London Irish Centre
Our connect London Service is funded by London councils and aims to prevent homelessness through early intervention for people over the age of 25. We assist 5000 clients in housing need each year. The service offers face-to-face generalist welfare benefits and debt advice. It also provides specialist housing advice in London boroughs as well as a pan-London telephone advice line. We provide employment support and help to access accommodation through our partner St Mungo's Broadway. The service additionally includes Link workers to help clients access holistic support via other local services.
We have a team of advice, support and guidance workers who deliver specialist housing advice, generalist debt and welfare advice to service users through a number of avenues including face-to-face drop-in and outreach session, phone and email.
