Target group - Single homeless men aged 25-55 with low support needs, particularly those who have been sleeping rough and have no recourse to public funds.
Will not accept - Men who are violent. Those currently using drugs/alcohol who do not wish to stop using while at the hostel.
All candidates need to be at the door at 4pm, including those with referral letters.
No referrals on Thursday and Sundays.
Residents expected to leave at 10am and return at 4pm (not permitted to be at the hostel during the day).
Once admitted can stay for 3 months. Vacancies occur either if someone does not return every night, they come back drunk/under influence of drugs or have reached the end of their 3 month stay.
Daily soup kitchen - Mon,Tues, Wed, Fri - hot meal 10.30am -12pm (Sun 2.30pm).
