Disability Rights UK (DR UK) (formerly Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation - RADAR)

DR UK is led by people with diverse experiences of disability and health conditions, from different communities, campaigning for the rights of all disabled people. We work with Disabled People's Organisations (DPOs) and other organisations and allies committed to equal participation for all.

We have two advice lines one for students; and the other for personal budgets.

Disability, according to the World Health Organization, is " umbrella term, covering impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions. An impairment is a problem in body function or structure; an activity limitation is a difficulty encountered by an individual in executing a task or action; while a participation restriction is a problem experienced by an individual in involvement in life situations.
