Community Advice & Support Scheme is a charity based in Whitechapel which provides practical assistance for disabled and elderly clients.
Practical activities include:

Environmental jobs such as mowing lawns, planting flowers and general cleaning of the environment. Car washing and cleaning.

Help with painting and decorating, minor repairs, DIY, removals (home, office and domestic) and recycling.
There is a charge for these services but the costs are subsidised.

Help with form filling such as benefit application forms and other types of advice, both of which incur a small charge.

Telephone and face-to-face advice on welfare benefits, housing, debt, social services and disabled access requirement. Clients are signposted to other organisations where we are unable to assist them.
